How many firms can I compare at once?
Up to four side by side. Beyond that the table stops being readable on a laptop screen, and the useful comparison is almost always between two firms — for those pairs we publish a dedicated page with an editorial verdict.
Why is a cell highlighted?
A highlighted cell marks the best value among the firms currently selected, on criteria where "better" is unambiguous: lower price, higher split, faster payout, more permissive rule. Criteria that are a matter of preference — platforms, instruments, payout frequency — are never highlighted.
Where does this data come from?
Every value is read from the firm's official website and dated. When a field could not be verified it shows a dash rather than an estimate, and no dash is ever counted as a win or a loss in the comparison.
