Best Match-Trader Prop Firms 2026

Match-Trader is the trading platform built by Match-Trade Technologies, now one of the main MetaTrader alternatives among forex and CFD prop firms. This page lists the firms that run their evaluations on it — in a browser, on mobile, or through a desktop client, with no mandatory installation.

The category suits discretionary traders on currencies, indices and metals who place orders manually and do not depend on the MQL Expert Advisor ecosystem. Our ranking sorts these firms on evidence rather than marketing: payout history and consistency, how clearly drawdown rules are written, how long the company has operated, execution quality reported by funded traders, and whether the challenge price matches what the funded account actually offers. Firm-by-firm figures appear in the comparison table underneath.

Detailed analysis

FundedNext

Forex / CFD · Futures · Crypto

Coming in at number 1, FundedNext has been operating since 2022 and scores 85/100 on our scale. Entry starts at $59.99 for a 2-phase evaluation. The risk envelope is a static drawdown capped at 10 %, with 5 % allowed per day. Funded traders keep 95 % of profits, with a first withdrawal available after 5 days. Notable freedoms: no time limit, no consistency rule, expert advisors allowed. Available on mt4, mt5, ctrader, match-trader.

On the forex and CFD side, FundedNext runs just two routes: Stellar 1-Step (10% target, 6% max loss) and Stellar 2-Step (8% then 5%, 10% max loss). Both use static drawdown, carry no deadline and come with refundable fees. Pricing is on the high side, and the headline 95% split needs a paid option — the contractual base is 80%.

2

Coming in at number 2, City Traders Imperium has been operating since 2018 and scores 83/100 on our scale. Entry starts at $29 on an instantly funded account. The risk envelope is a trailing intraday drawdown capped at 6 %. Funded traders keep 100 % of profits, with a first withdrawal available after 7 days. Notable freedoms: no time limit, no consistency rule, expert advisors allowed, news trading allowed. Available on mt5, match-trader.

City Traders Imperium has funded forex traders since 2018 through four routes — 1-Step, 2-Step, Instant Funding and Direct Funding — with no time limit and entry from $29. The profit split starts at 80% and can reach 100%, but the 1-Step allows only 5% trailing drawdown and every trade must carry a stop loss.

3

FundingPips

Forex / CFD · Crypto

Coming in at number 3, FundingPips has been operating since 2022 and scores 83/100 on our scale. Entry starts at $29 for a 2-phase evaluation. The risk envelope is a static drawdown capped at 6 %, with 3 % allowed per day. Funded traders keep 100 % of profits, with a first withdrawal available after 7 days. Notable freedoms: no time limit. Available on mt5, ctrader, match-trader.

FundingPips lets you choose the withdrawal rhythm and prices the split accordingly: 60% weekly, 80% biweekly, 90% on demand, 100% on a monthly cycle. Its four evaluation models keep static drawdown, with only the instant-funding Zero account switching to trailing. Against that, a Striking System closes a funded account on the fourth warning.

4

Coming in at number 4, Funded Trading Plus has been operating since 2021 and scores 80/100 on our scale. Entry starts at $89 for a 1-phase evaluation. The risk envelope is a trailing intraday drawdown capped at 6 %, with 4 % allowed per day. Funded traders keep 100 % of profits. Notable freedoms: no time limit, expert advisors allowed. Available on mt5, ctrader, dxtrade, match-trader.

A London firm founded in late 2021 and bought by Instant Funding in May 2026, Funded Trading Plus pays every 7 days on its 1-Step Express and Instant programs, with the split rising from 80 to 100% and scaling up to $5 million. The catch: intraday trailing drawdown on both, and a Trustpilot score the platform has pulled.

5

E8 Markets

Forex / CFD · Crypto · Futures

Ranked 5 on this list, E8 Markets has been operating since 2021 and scores 76/100 on our scale. Entry starts at $110 for a 1-phase evaluation. Funded traders keep 100 % of profits. Notable freedoms: no time limit, news trading allowed. Available on mt5, ctrader, tradelocker, match-trader.

Every E8 Markets product is now single-phase: a 6% target, withdrawals available from day three, and a split running from 80% to 100%. The trade-offs are a 35-40% consistency rule, no scaling plan, and a Trustpilot rating suspended in August 2026 for a breach of the platform's guidelines.

6

Hola Prime

Forex / CFD · Futures

In 6th place, Hola Prime has been operating since 2024 and scores 75/100 on our scale. The risk envelope is a trailing (end of day) drawdown capped at 6 %, with 3 % allowed per day. Funded traders keep 95 % of profits. Notable freedoms: no time limit. Available on mt4, mt5, ctrader, match-trader, dxtrade.

Hola Prime, founded in mid-2024 in Hong Kong, sells speed: withdrawal requests processed within an hour, a payout cadence you choose yourself, and a profit split running from 65 % to 95 % depending on that choice. It is the only firm in this batch whose Trustpilot rating is still live (4.5/5 across 3,475 reviews), but it publishes no prices at all.

7

Blue Guardian

Forex / CFD · Futures

Coming in at number 7, Blue Guardian has been operating since 2021 and scores 73/100 on our scale. Entry starts at $72 on an instantly funded account. The risk envelope is a trailing (end of day) drawdown capped at 6 %, with 3 % allowed per day. Funded traders keep 90 % of profits. Notable freedoms: no time limit, expert advisors allowed. Available on mt5, tradelocker, match-trader, tradingview, ninjatrader, tradovate.

Blue Guardian has operated from Dubai since 2021 and covers both CFDs and futures across six platforms, with refundable challenge fees and an 85% split. The catch sits in risk enforcement: Guardian Shield closes every position at 2% floating loss and cuts the split to 50% on a first breach, and the Trustpilot rating is currently suspended.

8

Maven Trading

Forex / CFD

Ranked 8 on this list, Maven Trading has been operating since 2022 and scores 73/100 on our scale. Entry starts at $13 for a 3-phase evaluation. The risk envelope is a static drawdown capped at 3 %, with 2 % allowed per day. Funded traders keep 80 % of profits. Notable freedoms: no time limit, news trading allowed. Available on mt5, match-trader, ctrader.

UAE-based since 2022, Maven Trading leans on breadth of formats and some of the lowest entry prices around — $15 for a $2,000 account. The rulebook is permissive: no time limit and no consistency rule on the standard paths. The trade-off is limited transparency about the firm itself and its payout terms.

9

Moneta Funded

Forex / CFD · Crypto

In 9th place, Moneta Funded has been operating since 2025 and scores 72/100 on our scale. The risk envelope is a static drawdown capped at 6 %, with 3 % allowed per day. Funded traders keep 100 % of profits, with a first withdrawal available after 14 days. Notable freedoms: no time limit, no consistency rule. Available on mt5, match-trader.

Moneta Funded was launched in late 2025 by broker Moneta Markets' group, advertising an 88 % profit split and allocation of up to two million dollars. Attractive terms on paper, but the firm is too recent to have a payout track record, and its site blocks automated verification of its pricing.

10

AquaFunded

Forex / CFD

Coming in at number 10, AquaFunded has been operating since 2023 and scores 59/100 on our scale. The risk envelope is a trailing intraday drawdown capped at 6 %, with 3 % allowed per day. Funded traders keep 100 % of profits. Notable freedoms: no time limit, news trading allowed. Available on mt5, match-trader, tradelocker, ctrader.

Dubai-based and launched in late 2023, AquaFunded spreads five evaluation models — one-step, two-step and instant funding — across eleven account sizes from $2,500 to $400,000, on a 90% profit split. The rulebook is flexible, but the firm publishes no fixed pricing and its Trustpilot rating is suspended over fake reviews.

Why this ranking

How a licensing change reshaped the platform market

The industry did not move to Match-Trader because traders demanded it. MetaQuotes tightened the terms under which prop trading companies could use MetaTrader, and firms needed a new home quickly. Match-Trade Technologies already sold a turnkey prop module: a rules engine, a client dashboard, KYC and payout tracking in one place. The practical consequence for a buyer is that the platform says nothing about the company behind it. A firm with years of payouts behind it and a brand launched last month present the same screen. Judgement has to come from payment history, contract wording and transparency about the legal entity — not from the interface.

What you gain and what you give up

The gain is friction removed: browser access with no install, genuine parity between desktop and mobile, charting and depth of market built in, and challenge metrics computed server side. That last detail matters more than it sounds, because the counter you see is the counter that fails you, which removes most arguments about whose numbers were right. What you give up is the MQL ecosystem. Indicators and Expert Advisors bought for MetaTrader do not carry over, automation depends on whatever API the firm exposes, and third-party tooling for journalling and analytics is thinner, though it is filling in. Algorithmic traders should settle this before purchase, not after passing phase one.

The questions worth asking before checkout

Identical interface, very different execution. Spread, slippage and behaviour around data releases depend on the liquidity the firm connects behind the platform, or on the absence of any when funded accounts stay simulated. Get written answers on four points: what kind of account is issued after you pass, how drawdown is measured (static or trailing, closed balance or unrealised peak), whether positions may be held through news and over weekends, and whether copying between your own accounts is allowed. The built-in copy trading module makes that trivial to do and is frequently forbidden anyway. Then spend ten minutes on the firm’s free demo, because order entry ergonomics are personal and no review replaces the test. As a category this suits discretionary currency, index and metals traders who work across devices. MQL developers and traders built around heavy order-flow tooling will find it constraining.

Frequently asked questions

Is Match-Trader replacing MetaTrader at prop firms?
For a large part of the industry, yes. Tighter MetaTrader licensing for prop trading companies pushed many firms to migrate, and Match-Trader already shipped with a built-in evaluation module. MetaTrader 5 still exists elsewhere, and some firms run both. Platform choice tells you nothing about execution quality or about whether payouts actually arrive.
Can I run Expert Advisors on Match-Trader?
Not in the MetaTrader sense. MQL and its EA marketplace are not supported. Firms that permit automation do it through a dedicated API where one exists, and usually restrict how it may be used in their terms. Algorithmic traders should confirm this in writing with support before paying for a challenge.
Do all Match-Trader prop firms have the same execution?
No. The interface is shared, the plumbing is not. Each firm picks its own setup: a genuine liquidity feed, an internal book, or a fully simulated environment. Spreads, slippage and behaviour around economic releases differ accordingly. Trying each firm's free demo is the only reliable way to compare them.
Do I need to install anything to trade on Match-Trader?
No. A modern browser is enough on Windows or macOS, and the mobile app exposes the same functions. A desktop client exists for multi-monitor setups. Because sessions are held server side, charts and open positions follow you between devices, with no VPS and no local configuration to maintain.
