About Top Prop Firm

Top Prop Firm compares proprietary trading firms — companies that sell a paid evaluation and, if you pass, give you access to a funded account. The market is opaque by construction: rules change without notice, firms appear and disappear within a year, and most comparison sites rank by commission rate without saying so.

We built the opposite. Every figure comes from a firm's own website and carries the date it was checked. Every score is computed by a script from those figures, using weights published on the methodology page. And every field we could not verify stays visibly empty rather than being filled with a plausible guess.

Our three rules

1

No figure without a source

Prices, profit targets, drawdown thresholds, splits and payout delays are read from the firm’s own site, recorded in a dated data file, and only then written about. The editorial text is produced from the data, never the reverse — which makes it structurally impossible to publish a figure that does not exist in our records.

2

No gap filled with a guess

When a value cannot be verified, the cell shows a dash flagged “not verified”. Copying it from another comparison site would propagate their error; estimating it would invent one. Some of our profiles look sparser than the competition for exactly this reason.

3

No score that money can move

Scores are computed from published data by a script with published weights. There is no manual rating input and no sponsored position field. Changing a score would require changing a dated, sourced data point — which would show up in that firm’s public change history.

What we are not

We are not a broker, a prop firm, or a financial intermediary. We hold no funds, execute no orders and take no part in your relationship with a firm. We do not sell signals, courses or mentoring, and we never will — every comparison site that has gone down that route ended up recommending whatever it was also selling.

Editorial line

Analyses and reviews are published under a single editorial byline, Camille Berthier — a name given to a consistent editorial standard, not a natural person. That page explains the choice and the production chain behind every piece.

Frequently asked questions

Are you affiliated with any prop firm?
Not at the time of writing. We publish public discount codes without compensation. When we join affiliate programmes, those links will be marked as partner links and the affiliate disclosure page will say exactly which firms are concerned.
Do you accept paid placements?
No. There is no sponsored slot in any ranking, and no field in our data model that could hold one. Rankings are generated by filtering and sorting the database, so there is literally nothing to sell.
How can I report an error?
Through the contact form. Factual corrections are treated as a priority: the data is rechecked at source, updated if wrong, and the change appears in that firm’s change history with its date.
Do you offer trading advice or signals?
No, and we never will. This site compares the terms of evaluation providers. It does not tell you what to trade, when, or with what size.
