Verdict

Lucid Trading is a US futures prop firm launched in 2025, paying a 90 % profit split with withdrawals processed in roughly fifteen minutes. Its public data is thin: it stopped showing prices per account size in August 2026, its website blocks automated verification, and the figures third-party comparison sites report contradict each other.

Makes sense for an intraday futures trader already set up on NinjaTrader or Tradovate who wants a high split, zero activation fees and fast withdrawals on $25,000 to $150,000 accounts. Avoid it if you want to know the price before buying, if you hold positions overnight or over the weekend, or if you are uncomfortable with a one-year-old firm whose terms can no longer be checked against its own official source.

Pros

  • A 90 % split in the trader's favour, reaching 100 % on some payouts, with no activation fee on funded accounts and no monthly subscription.
  • On-demand withdrawals processed in about fifteen minutes according to the firm, on accounts sized $25,000 to $150,000.
  • Drawdown is calculated end of day (EOD trailing) across every range, which is easier to live with than intraday trailing.
  • Five futures platforms: NinjaTrader, Tradovate, TradingView, Rithmic and Quantower, across CME, CBOT, NYMEX and COMEX.
  • News trading and scalping are allowed, Expert Advisors are accepted, and Trustpilot shows 4.4/5 across 5,507 reviews.

Cons

  • Public data is incomplete: no prices displayed since August 2026, a site that blocks automated verification, and contradictory third-party sources.
  • No position can stay open past the daily close — no overnight, no weekend — and hedging is not permitted.
  • Allocation is capped at $150,000, with no scaling plan documented beyond that ceiling.
  • Roughly 70 countries are excluded, and the payout methods are not published anywhere.
  • The firm dates from 2025 and its range was already restructured in February 2026 (LucidBlack withdrawn); the 10 % one-star reviews mention account bans and payout delays.

Frequently asked questions

Is Lucid Trading legit?
Lucid Trading has been operating since 2025, which is a meaningful track record in an industry where most firms are younger than three years. Its Trustpilot rating stands at 4.4/5 across 5,507 reviews. We score it 69/100, with 66/100 on the trust and track record pillar specifically.
How fast does Lucid Trading pay out?
Payouts are then a la demande, traitement en 15 minutes en moyenne. The trader keeps 90 % of profits, rising to 100 % with scaling.
What drawdown rules apply at Lucid Trading?
Lucid Trading uses a trailing (end of day) drawdown. A trailing drawdown follows the account equity upward, so the loss threshold rises with your gains — check exactly when it updates before trading.
Does Lucid Trading accept US traders?
Yes. Lucid Trading does not list the United States among its restricted countries. It does exclude AF, AL, DZ, AO, BS, BB, BY, BA, BW, BG, BF, MM, BI, KH, CF, CD, CG, CI, CU, EC, ET, GH, GN, HT, IS, ID, IR, IQ, JM, KE, XK, LA, LB, LR, LY, LT, ML, MU, MN, ME, MA, MZ, NA, NI, NG, KP, MK, PK, PA, PG, PH, RU, SN, RS, SI, SO, ZA, SS, LK, SD, SY, TZ, TT, TN, TR, UG, UA, VE, VN, and YE. Restriction lists change, so confirm on the firm's terms page before paying.
What are the main rules of the Lucid Trading challenge?
There is no time limit to complete the evaluation phases. A 50 % consistency rule applies: no single day may exceed that share of total profit.
